Yogi Bhajan deeply understood that the future is feminine and he gave many practices for the empowerment of women.
A number of Buddhist teachers give interesting insights into the nature of the female. Also, the book, Women who run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, is well known. Furthermore, some of the African traditional practices that are healthy for women, originate from understanding the true nature of women. These are just a few examples.
One of our challenges is to recognize the Teachings that are relevant for this Age. We carry the lineage of our grandmothers including many old ideas about the nature of the woman. We are in a process of upgrading. This requires patience, wisdom and courage.
I felt safe and held by Ishwara Kaur at her Kundalini Yoga Workshop. This allowed me to work though some profound blocked emotions and come out the other end smiling.
